1966 Fender Princeton Reverb amplifier in excellent condition. It has an Oxford speaker driving 12-15 watts and comes supplied with a 110V / step down transformer and new Fender double foot-switch. It also has an aftermarket Fender dust cover. This amp has had a recent cap service, new 3 pin power cord, tubes and a replacement reverb tank made by Ruby tubes.
The sound is amazing, super warm tone with lush reverb. The dual 6V6 tubes deliver punchy, responsive lows together with chimey highs. When it's cranked it breaks up in the lower frequencies and mid-focused tone. It's very clean, with no significant scuffs or tears in the tolex. The grille cloth has a few very small tears. This is the perfect amp for gigging, recording, or just using at home.
The tube chart sticker is stamped PH for August 1966. The Oxford speaker date sticker is missing. The transformers and choke all date to 66. The pots all date to the first half 66 except one which is dated 1965 Weight: 13.4kg. Serial number: A11082. The amp has been fully checked over by our tech here at the showroom and given a clean bill of health. It's had a 3 pin power cord and earth tag fitted for safety. 30-day warranty included.
