Andy Baxter initially encountered Sandberg basses during his tenure at The Bass Centre in London. It was during this time that he first became acquainted with the outstanding craftsmanship and superior quality of Sandberg instruments. Impressed by their exceptional sound and playability, Andy developed a deep appreciation for Sandberg basses. Now, as the owner of Andy Baxter Bass & Guitars, he is delighted to continue his relationship with Sandberg by stocking their bass guitars. With his firsthand experience and knowledge of these instruments, Andy Baxter is thrilled to provide access to a stunning, yet selected lineup of Sandberg basses.
“Being a Fender guy, It was initially the California that appealed to me”, said Andy. They have this familiar offset body shape, yet with new tonal capabilities. As a vintage bass specialist, I love the heavily aged finishes. I have also come across a few Sandberg Forty Eight basses and they are just awesome”.
