1962 Gibson EB3, Cherry

Early 1962 Gibson EB3 bass guitar, all original and 100% complete including the case. It's in excellent condition with only a few small dings around the edge of the body and a couple on the headstock. The Cherry finish is still very vibrant and has some light lacquer checking. This is a fantastic bass with a great low action allowing for smooth playability up and down the neck. The frets are in excellent shape the neck is straight with no issues and the truss rod has plenty of room to move

All electronics and hardware are in good working order. It's been fully set up by my technician with a fresh set of Rotosound flat wound strings and the action is set nice and low. It has a big thumping sound. Jack Bruce eat your heart out. The pots all date to mid 1964. Serial number:279841. Weight:7lbs 9oz. Nut width:43.25 mm. Depth at 1st fret:22.75 mm. This bass carries a Gibson second stamp. (small 2 above the serial number) Guitars and basses received this stamp if there was a small finish flaw only. Due to normal play wear it is now impossible to tell where the finish flaw was.
