1964 Epiphone Rivoli, Sunburst finish in excellent condition.Tortoiseshell pickguard with silver Epiphone "E" logo. This bass was made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial:174368, sunburst top, dark back and sides, laminated maple body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, non original hard shell case.

This is a fantastic bass with a great low action allowing for smooth playability up and down the neck. It's been fully set up by my technician. It has the earlier nut width of just over 1 & 11/16 inches (soon after in 1965 this changed to a rather skinny 1.5 inches).

It's had a headstock repair and Black overspray. It's been pinned and glued by an extremely talented antique furniture restorer I know. His work is unbelievable. You can only see the crack up close and it's completely stable.

The Rivoli Bass was epiphones first electric bass, It debuted in 1959, and it was the equivlent of Gibson's EB-2, a semi-hollowbody archtop modeled after the Gibson ES-335.
