1963 Gibson ES-335, exceptional condition, with a gorgeous, vivid, unfaded cherry red finish, a big fat neck, original tuners and strong patent number pickups. 7.7 ohms at the bridge and 7.93 neck. This guitar plays and sounds amazing, check out the recording (played through the 1972 Marshall 2061 lead and bass amp on my site)

You will see in the picture that my technician has taken the tuners off to check underneath, there are no extra marks or screw holes, so these tuners are definitely the originals. Whilst looking into that we noticed that some leftover Black paint was present from a Gibson factory stinger. The previous owner had this stinger removed and the back of the headstock buffed out, under Black light you can see a thin section running down the left hand side of the headstock where the buffing process has taken off some of the top coat as well as the Black stinger. This can only be seen under Black light and not to the naked eye in normal light conditions. The Orange label has been replaced. There are no other issues or repairs, this guitar has not had a headstock or heel crack. It comes with original hard shell case which is also in exceptional condition.

This guitar has been fully set up with a fresh set of strings by my technician. Serial: 147770. Weight: 8.2 lbs. Neck dimension: nut width:1.668" . Depth: 0.784 . 12th fret W: 2.036" . D: 0.977"
