1978/79 Fender Jazz bass, Olympic White finish which has mellowed into more of a cream. Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard with Pearl block inlays and binding. All original and complete with the exception of two extra screw holes on the body by the bridge where someone had added or moved the thumb rest. This bass comes with a modern Fender gig bag. I've listed this bass 1978/79 because even though the serial number indicates 78, two of the pots and the sticker in the body are from early 79.

This bass has tons of tone, the growl from this bass is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings withs tons of top end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.

The finish shows lots of of play wear throughout the body and headstock, mainly around the edges. There are numerous chips in the finish. The back of the neck however is very clean in comparison and the binding is intact. The frets show virtually no wear. The truss rod works as it should. It's been fully set up by my technician with a smooth medium/low action giving great playability. Serial: S843185
