1963 Gibson ES-175D , Sunburst finish in great condition and 2 original PAF pickups. Fully checked over and set up by my technician Chris Ward. This super 16 1/4-inch-wide guitar weighs just 6.9 lbs. and has a nice, fat nut width of 1 & 11/16 inches and a standard Gibson scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Three-ply laminated maple body, one-piece Honduras mahogany neck with a medium profile, and rosewood fretboard with 20 frets and inlaid pearl split-parallelogram position markers. Headstock with inlaid pearl "Gibson" logo and pearl crown inlay. Two-layer (black on white) plastic truss-rod cover. The body of the guitar is triple-bound on the top and single-bound on the back. Serial number 120575 impressed into the back of the headstock. Inside the bass f-hole is an orange label stamped with 120575. The tuners have been changed for Grovers. Five-layer (black/white/black/white/black) plastic pickguard. Four controls (two volume, two tone) on lower treble bout plus three-way selector switch on upper bass bout. Gold plastic bell-shaped knobs with metal tops. Rosewood bridge with pre-set compensating saddle on rosewood base and zig-zag tailpiece with central "T"-shaped design.

This guitar is in very good condition, with a few small marks and dings on the body (mainly around the edges) and some very fine finish checking. The headstock also has marks and dings around the edges. It looks to me like the neck has been reset, although I can't be certain. There is evidence of the finish being touched up around the heel and on the edges of the body just by the heel. Under Black light there are definitely inconsistencies in the finish. The binding on the back of the body appears to have been repaired / re-glued and there is evidence of clear lacquer touch up. The rest of the body finish front and back is original with no overspray or touch ups. The case is old but not original. It's a superb guitar and the PAF pickups sound fantastic.
