Vintage Hofner 500/1 bass guitar. 1968 Hofner 500/1 Beatle Bass . Excellent condition inc Hofner reissue case and leather strap. Only a small amount of buckle rash and a few small dings to the body. Light laquer checking on body front and back. Neck very clean. Symmetrical violin shape, classic tobacco sunburst finish, complemented with perloid control. Missing perloid scratchplate. Two blade pickups. There is a volume control for each pickup ( no tone control ) and 3 slider switches: one for each pickup and a rhythm/solo switch. Set up with flat wound strings, great action with plenty of movement left in the truss rod. Vintage Hofner 500/1 bass guitar.
