1972 Fender Jazz Bass, original Candy Apple Red finish. All Stock other than the pickguard and missing the metal pickup cover. Some wear to the finish and quite a few chips/dings around the edges of the body as you can see in the pics.The bridge cover has left some marks in the finish. Only a small patch of buckle rash. There's also lacquer checking running through the body and headstock, the neck is extremely clean. The neck plays smoothly the action is good as are the frets.The binding on the neck is also clean with no wear. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. It has an A neck . The neck stamp is hard to read but you can just about make out 72 A. The pots date to the 16th week of 71 (304-7116) The pickups date to 1972.

This is a lovely bass to play, it has a smooth action and great tone. Fully set up by my technician Chris Ward with a fresh set of Elites Stadium series 45-105 strings. Comes in the original hard shell case. Come and try this out at my showroom in Shoreditch, London, you wont be disappointed with the sound. Weight:8.9 lbs. Serial: 328182. The neck has a lovely profile and feels comfortable in the hand. The width at the nut is 1 & 1/2", at the 12th its: 2& 1/8". Depth at nut: 7/8' at the 12th: 1".
