1968 Gibson EB2D, Cherry Red finish in very good condition & all stock & original other than the missing metal bridge cover, string mute mechanism & pick guard. Maple body with a central tone block, Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard and 20 frets.

The body finish and binding are in good shape with some heavy checking in places, very faint buckle rash/ scratches and a few a few tiny dings. The binding is all intact and has mellowed to more of a creamy yellow. The neck and frets are in great shape. The neck is straight and has no issues. The headstock shows a few small marks but nothing major. Everything remains structurally sound. All electronics & hardware work as they should. ( including the mute mechanism) Powerful Gibson humbucking pickup at the neck position and mini humbucker by the bridge with separate tone and volume controls + Baritone switch. 30 1/2 inch scale.

Fully set up by my technician. All round excellent bass. Serial: 905527. Weight: 9.1 lbs.
