**SOLD****SOLD****SOLD****SOLD** . . . . .1972 Martin D28S in very good + condition, all original other than the case. Only a few minor dings and scratches to body and headstock. ( Have a look at the close ups in detail) The back of the neck is relatively clean with only light playing wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no crack or repairs. Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and bridge. The top is a gorgeous piece of spruce, very tightly grained throughout the width of the top. Grover slimline tuners. The neck is straight and the the frets are in great condition. The interior bracing is original and intact, with no issues. The nut width is 1 & 7/8 ths of an inch, the gentle C shape of the neck makes it comfortable to play. The neck on these S models joins the neck at the 12th fret. The tone is warm and rich with plenty of bass but also lots of midrange and trebles too. This Martin is a joy to play. Fully set up by my technician. Weight : 4.6 lbs Serial 309188
