**SOLD****SOLD****SOLD** . . . . . . . . . .Vintage 1979 Musicman Sabre Bass. 10.2 lb. Original Sunburst finish. Maple neck / fretboard. Black pickguard. This bass is in excellent + condition. The neck and headstock are close to mint condition. The body only has the slightest of dings. The chrome knobs and control plate are still shiny. The frets are in great shape showing virtually no wear. The truss rod is fully operational with plenty of room to move. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The action is set nice and low. The string mutes are intact. Nice and light. The body dates 1979 but the day of the month is impossible to read. The neck date is October 1979. The pots all date 1979. This is superb bass to play and it sounds great. Music Man offered a narrow neck option in the late 70s and this is one of them. Slim like a Jazz bass but slightly deeper front to back. These necks are rare to find. The nut measures 37.36 mm / 1.47 inches. This bass is supplied in a soft/hard case............. SPECS: 2 band EQ. Contoured body , 2 humbucking pickups, internal micro powered pre amp, brightness + phase in/out and pick up selector switches.
