1968 Gibson EB2DC in very good condition. Vibrant Cherry Red finish. The string mute mechanism is missing and the nut has been changed. The case has Purple interior so is likely to be from the early '70s Gibson. I suspect its had a re-fret. ( a very good one though) It has Maple body with a central tone block, Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard and 20 frets. Powerful Gibson humbucking pickup at the neck position and mini humbucker by the bridge with separate tone and volume controls + Baritone switch. 30 1/2 inch scale.

The finish on the body any neck have a little play wear and lacquer checking. The binding is intact and has mellowed to more of a creamy yellow. The headstock has a few small dings but nothing major and everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The frets are in great shape having been dressed by my tech. The neck is straight and has no issues.

Fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound flat wound strings. All round excellent bass. Serial: 947450. Weight: 9lbs 6oz. Nut width: 38.75 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.75 mm. The pots date to late 67.
