1962 Fender Champ-Amp, tweed finish, 8" speaker, 5F1 circuit, Excellent condition. Made in Fullerton, California, tube chart stamped LJ (October 1962) serial #C19478. The transformers, speaker and tube chart all date to 62. It's a compact vintage tube amp, only 30cm high, 34cm wide and 18cm deep. This is a very fine example of an early ''60s Champ. The original 8" Speaker sounds fantastic at low volume, it's tight and punchy while having a super warm, smooth overdrive.

These amps Perfect for the studio or any other low volume situation for getting classic tube overdrive tones, they have a snarled sound and break up perfectly. This amp runs at 110V and is supplied with a step down transformer. Its in full working order without issue having been fully serviced by our amp tech and comes with a 3 month warranty. During the service, the so called "death cap" was disconnected and a 3 prong power chord was added. My tech also noted that all else is original other than what looks a repro handle.
