1956 Fender Precision Bass. Two tone sunburst finish in very good condition. Lightweight and resonant Swamp Ash body, maple neck and fingerboard. All original including the case. Serial number: 11125.

This bass has a single coil pickup with a raised A pole piece, chrome volume and tone controls, a single ply ABS white pickguard, an original Fender Pat. Pend. metal bridge with two adjustment screws each for half and reverse gear tuners.

It sounds great, with huge tone and a bottom end that just growls at you ! The frets are in great shape with very little wear. There are a number of smaller dings and scratches mainly around the edges and it has some buckle rash on the back. The finish overall is very good and the colour still vibrant. There is lacquer checking throughout. The headstock is very clean. There a few small patches on the neck & fingerboard where the finish has worn through. There's a small notch grooved out in the pickguard for easier access to the truss rod.

This bass has been fully set up by my technician with a medium to low action and great playability. It's incredibly light, weighing only 8 lbs 1.5oz. Nut width: 42.6mm . Depth at 1st fret 24mm.
