THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD FAUNA AND FLORA (CITES) - EC REGULATIONS 865/2006 & 338/97

Brazilian rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) is listed on Appendix I of CITES and EU Annex A of the EC Regulations, which means that guitars made with parts from this species require exemption Certificates (commonly called Article 10 Certificates) to allow commercial use within the European Union (EU). We can supply this certificate for 75 on top of the purchase price on any Guitar.

Guitars made with other rosewood species (Dalbergia spp.) listed on CITES Appendix II and EU Annex B do not require an Article 10 Certificate for trade within the EU.

All guitars made with rosewood species (Dalbergia spp.) including Brazilian rosewood will now need Re-export Certificates for trade purposes outside the EU. This certificate is available on request for a fee of 125 GBP on top of the purchase price on any Guitar.

1962 Fender Precision Bass. Body only refinish in Black, original White ( mint Green) pickguard. Brazilian Rosewood veneer fingerboard. Serial: 81301. Extremely light weighing only 8lbs 3oz. The pickguard is fully intact with no cracks. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. The neck is straight, the frets are in good condition overall but do show a little pitting. The pots have been changed and one half of the pickup rewound. Also there is a channel routed in the body for the wires going from the pots to the pickup.

The C-shaped neck feels fantastic in the hand. The hardware is all clean and the truss rod is fully functioning with no issues.

Fully set up by my technician, it has a straight neck and a great action. The neck date reads Sept 62 C. Nut width: 43.2mm . Depth at 1st fret: 20mm
