Early 1977 Musicman Stingray. Absolutely fantastic bass. Natural finish over a highly figured Ash body with a Maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2 band EQ, the much sought after black epoxy pre amp and through body stringing. TM on headstock logo and White pickup cover. This bass has really been played.... a lot and it's not surprising because it really is an amazing playing and sounding instrument. There is lots of finish wear all over this bass and it's had a re-fret. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The truss rod is fully working with plenty of room to move. The action is set nice and low.

This is an all round excellent bass, the sound is warm and punchy. It's been fully set up with a fresh set of strings and has a great action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. Nut Width: 42.29 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.25mm. The serial number is :B002939. The neck date is January 18th 1977, the body date is not visible. All 3 pots date to 1976. Weight: 10lbs 6.5oz.
