Beautiful 1973 Rickenbacker 4001, Fireglo finish, Checkerboard binding. Serial number :MF 2408 (June 1973) This is all original other than the case and the missing pickup cover.

The toaster Pickup & lead pickup sound fantastic. The wavy Grover tuners work as they should as does all the hardware and electronics. The neck is straight and the frets are in good shape. Only a few small patches of wear to the body and back of the neck. The binding has mellowed to a creamy Yellow and is all intact. This is one very fine and rare bass, its also great fun to play. It has that killer Rick tone as soon as you start playing.

It's been fully set up by my technician with a smooth playing action. Weight:9lbs 6.5oz.

1969 Fender Precision Bass Sunburst, finish with a Rosewood fingerboard in excellent condition. All stock and original with the exception of the case and a couple of wires on the pots harness.

The sunburst finish is in great shape, it's very vibrant still with only a few very minor scuffs and dings to the body. There's no buckle rash or checking visible & no breaks or repairs. The back of the neck is in exceptional condition with no wear and the headstock has only a few small signs of wear. All electronics & hardware work as they should. The bass is very light weighing only 8lbs 5oz. Serial: 232975.

The neck date is June 69 B. Nut Width: 41.2mm. The pots date to the 42nd week of 66. (lots of 66 pots were used on Fenders all through the late '60s) This bass has a Great tone and straight neck with a smooth action. Fully set up by my technician.
