1973 Fender Jazz Bass with a Candy Apple Red finish over an Alder body. Excellent condition. Maple neck and fingerboard with Black block inlays and Black binding. It's missing the neck pickup cover and with the exception of what appears to be a rewound front pickup (due the slightly lighter coloured wind) it's all original including the case.

This is an excellent bass, with a nice slim neck. I personally love these Maple neck Black block Jazz basses, I owned one for many years. This bass has tons of tone and the growl is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with tons of top end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.

The finish shows only a little play wear, and some light buckle rash. The neck has one small ding but otherwise extremely clean. The headstock is equally clean and the Black binding is all intact. The frets show only light wear and theres plenty of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.

Fully set up by my technician with a smooth medium/low action giving great playability. Serial:403019. Weight: 9lbs 4oz. Nut Width: 1.473" / depth:0.813" . Width at 12th: 2.16" / depth: 0.982" The pickup outputs read: neck: 7.3 Kohms / bridge:7.37.
