1973 Fender Jazz Bass with a Black finish in excellent condition. Maple neck and fingerboard with Black block inlays and Black binding. All original including the case and metal covers, with the exception of what appears to be a rewound back pickup (due the slightly lighter coloured wind)

This is an excellent bass, with a nice slim neck. I personally love these Maple neck Black block Jazz basses. I owned one for many years in this very same finish. This bass has tons of tone and the growl is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings withs tons of top end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.

The finish shows only a little play wear, and light checking throughout the body. The neck and headstock are clean and the binding is all intact. The frets show only light wear and theres plenty of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.

Fully set up by my technician with a smooth medium/low action giving great playability. Serial:391893. Weight: 8 lbs 12.5 oz. Nut Width: 1.498" / depth:0.831" . Width at 12th: 2.218" / depth: 0.978"
