1964 Gibson Southern Jumbo, Sunburst finish in excellent condition with the original case. All original dreadnaught guitar. The action has been set up nice and low by my technician. Wonderful sound with great projection. These 1960s "square-shouldered" versions are know for their iconic lush tone, with great compression. This is a 16 inch square shoulder dreadnought, mahogany body, belly bridge with adjustable saddles, multiple bound top and back, bound rosewood fingerboard, Pearl double parallelogram inlays.

There are one or two dings on the front and some arm wear on the top edge. The back is exceptionally clean with no buckle rash. The headstock also has one or two dings on the back/top edge. Theres a small section of neck binding missing between the nut and the 1st fret on the E sting side.

Working mans/womans guitar, known for its compression and deep tones, a favorite with country players hence the SJN Country and Western designation given by Gibson in 1962. Fully set up by my technician, weight: 4lbs 4.5oz. serial: 222591. Neck width at nut: 1.679" . At the 12th: 2.016" . Depth at nut: 0.789".
