1969 Gibson EB2D, Sunburst finish, all original including the case. Maple body with a central tone block, Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and 20 frets. The Sunburst finish is still very vibrant.

The body has quite bit of checking to the finish, mainly on the front and around the edges. The binding is intact and has mellowed to more of a creamy yellow. The back of the neck and headstock also show checking and a few dings. The frets are in great shape having been dressed by my tech. The neck is straight and has no issues. Everything remains structurally sound. A previous owner has moved the strap button on the back up a few mm. The strap buttons are also changed in favour of strap lock buttons. Powerful Gibson humbucking pickup at the neck position and mini humbucker by the bridge with separate tone and volume controls + Baritone switch. 30 1/2 inch scale.

Fully set up by my technician. All round excellent bass. The pots date to 68. The serial to 69 - it reads: 538598 . Weight: 9lbs 5.5oz. Nut width: 1.475" . At 12th: 1.989" . Depth at nut 0.905". At the 12th: 1.031". Pickup ohms: Neck:27.28 / Bridge:7.06.
