In 1998 Eric Clapton`s vision of opening a world-class drug and alcohol treatment center on the island of Antigua became a reality. The non-profit Crossroads Centre has developed into an internationally recognized treatment centre providing services to individuals and their families suffering from the devastating effects of addiction. In 2008 Richard Ash, Co-CEO of Sam Ash Music had an idea to incorporate the spirit of the Eric Clapton Stratocaster with the Spirit of the Crossroad Center. He commissioned a limited run of 100 pieces of the signature model in the classic Antigua finish along with a commitment to donate $100,000 to the Crossroads Centre and that is how this guitar was born.
Features include a select Alder body, 1-piece Maple neck with soft “V” shape, 22 vintage style frets, 3 vintage noiseless pickups, “blocked” American Vintage synchronized tremolo and a vintage black case. Each instrument is individually numbered from 1 to 100 and comes with an official certificate of authenticity. This particular guitar is number 57
