1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard, Gold Top

1969 Les Paul Standard Goltop with serial 558344 in very good condition. Original finish, with 1968 Specs of a one-piece neck and body with long tenon and maple cap top. Original pots and electronics. Large headstock. Rosewood fingerboard, C shape neck,  43.3 mm nut width. Large binding in cutaway. Original P 90 pickups. Fitted with Grovers. Original case included. Supplied with 3 months warranty and a 14-day returns policy.

Previously fitted with another set of pickups as is evident from the larger holes on either side of the pickup cavities. The original pickups are back in the guitar. It plays very well with a straight neck / low action and the truss rod works correctly. Tons of sustain...........

The body displays lacquer checking and a few light scuffs and dings, mainly to the edges of the body but nothing major. Light playwear on the back of the neck and some small dings and scuffs around the headstock. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The binding has yellowed and the hardware shows some rusting and pitting. The frets are in great shape and have been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. The back bottom edge of the case has been repaired.
