1977 Rickenbacker 4001 with a White finish. It's missing the pickup cover and has a new pickguard from Ricky Sounds, it comes with the original case. Serial number: QF 2276. (June 1977) The finish has very little play wear with only a few small scuffs/dings but it has yellowed quite a bit in places, particularly on the back of the body. The metalwork is still shiny. All-round lovely bass.
Fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Rotosound Nickel round-wound strings and low playing action. The truss rods work as they should and the neck is straight. (there has been some wood carved out from around the ends of the truss rod to allow access to teh bolts - see pic) The frets are in great shape showing very little wear and have been clean and polished. All electronics and hardware are in good working order with no issues. The Pickups, pots and hardware are all original. The pots date to late-77, the serial dates the production to June 1977. Weight 9lbs13.5oz. Nut width 42mm. Depth at 1st fret 23.6mm. Supplied with a 3-month warranty.
